Welcome to 8th grade! This year is going to be filled with learning goals and achievements! I look forward to coaching you through this year and preparing you all for high school.
ARE YOU READY TO GRADUATE?
This year we will be reading fiction, memoirs, and even graphic novels. This is going to allow us to learn about the human condition. We will work on analysis that will help us see how people are affected by society and how they can overcome limitations. I want you to be able to think about your role in the world, and what can you do to change it for the better?
We will be going deeper into non-fiction and fiction texts so be ready for nightly homework so we can PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
